Dialogue

When I was four years old I switched through the channels and accidentally found something that would define my personality: Dr Who. Dr Who is a perfect vehicle to educate kids and normalise issues. Not only this, but it does it through its subtlety in dialogue and metaphors with aliens, however the key point here is the subtlety within the dialogue. Dialogue is extremely easy to mess up as getting the point to the audience can be difficult and sometimes the message seems extremely ham-fisted and other times it is too difficult for anyone to understand both times making dialogue not feel like actual people talking. My dialogue feels real; highlights the characters so the audience quickly understands the subtext.
